FDA Takes Steps to Improve Gluten Ingredient Disclosure in Foods

The Food and Drug Administration is extending the comment period on a Request for Information regarding labeling and preventing cross-contact of gluten in packaged food. Electronic or written comments must be submitted by April 22, 2026.
